is a midwest-based freelance photographer specializing in intimate landscapes of forests, water, and rural areas.  His work has been published in magazines and displayed in gallery shows.  Phil’s photos are available for purchase as fine-art prints and use in publications.  See the Purchase page and Terms of Use pages for more information.

STATEMENT

My photography is my response to the beauty I see in the things all around us.  While my subjects can be anything from flowers in my backyard to big landscapes, they all reflect my response to the beauty of it.  I don’t limit myself to “straight images” vs. digitally manipulated images.  I make the images based on how I feel about the subject and may apply little or no manipulations or tons of it.
